If you love tasting a wide spectrum of wines and want to find the best hot hors d’ouevres, cheeses, and chocolates to enjoy with your wine, then you can’t miss the upcoming “Benefit for our Animal Friends” wine tasting party. It’s Saturday, May 3, 2008, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Cody Elks Lodge, 1202 Beck Avenue. Tickets are $20 per person and are available at the Cody Elks Lodge, the Loving Hearts Animal Sanctuary, the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, and at the door. In a casual setting, a variety of delicious wines from distinctive vineyards will be paired with wonderful food tidbits. You’ll have a chance to win wine baskets, local pottery from The Thistle, jewelry from Big Chiefs Western Gifts, a trip for two to anywhere in the world and much more. A fun, casual night not to be missed! All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Park County and the Loving Hearts Animal Sanctuary.
